DIY Beauty

3/24/2020

Hi Arrows!

For those crafty bunch (like me), I've included some DIY lip scrubs, face masks, and face sprays. Remember, even though you're at home it's still important to take care of your skin! Your skin needs a routine (just like school) of consistent washing and moisturizing.Since we're on break, give those pores a break too and go makeup free!

WARNING: please get parent permission before whipping up these products at home (especially for the green tea toner) and ALWAYS test on a small portion of skin to avoid allergic reactions! All of these recipes (and many more) can be found on Pinterest!

Honey Face Mask

1 Tablespoon honey
1 Teaspoon baking soda

Green Tea Facial Toner

1 Green tea bag
1 Cup distilled or filtered water
1 small spray bottle

Directions:
In a small pan, bring the filtered water nearly to a boil. Remove the pan from heat and steep your tea bag for 10 minutes (remember, the longer you steep, the stronger your green tea toner will be). After steeping, remove the tea bag and allow green tea to cool completely. Pour your green tea into a clean spray bottle and store in the refrigerator.
To Apply: wash face, spritz the cold green tea toner onto your face and let dry. Once product is dry, apply moisturizer
