Housing Needs

3/20/2020

Through the Department of Jobs and Family Services (DJFS), the new COVID-19 Response Program provides assistance with shelter/living expenses for families with minor children residing in the home. The family must also meet other eligibility criteria, but can receive up to $2,000 towards housing expenses. This program is separate from the Prevention Retention and Contingency (PRC) program and requires a separate application.

Applicants can access this application online: www.ashlandjfs.org
or pickup a paper application from the outdoor application box located next to the DJFS agency.

Please contact DJFS or a school liaison with questions.
