There are many opportunities for students looking to enlist in today's military: https://www.todaysmilitary.com/

Full-time Enlistment (All Branches):
This requires a full-time commitment to the branch (training and deployment) with each branch having a specialized focus.

Reserves (All Branches):
The Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard all have a branch of the reserves with each offering close to home training on a part-time basis.

National Guard (Army & Air):
The Army and Air National Guard's focus is mainly at the state level, but may be required to assist nationally as well. The Army National Guard also deploys on a part-time basis with the Army.

The Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC):A college program offered at more than 1,700 colleges and universities across the United States that prepares young adults to become officers in the U.S. Military.
In exchange for a paid college education and a guaranteed post-college career, participants, or cadets, commit to serve in the Military after graduation. Each Service branch has its own take on ROTC.
